Last Saturday on the 12th of April, Oriental Weavers opened the new Oriental Weavers School for Learning Carpet Production; an educational institute which intends to breed the next generation of artisans at KidZania, Egypt’s first and only edutainment city.

Through their participation at KidZania, Oriental Weavers offers children the chance to design and create their own carpet in the course of 20 minutes. Those who succeed in doing so will take their carpets home.

KidZania Cairo is the first city of interactive learning in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East, which seeks to assist up to 20 million children around the world learn through creating an environment which simulates reality. Children of ages 4 to up to 14 years old participate in a wide variety of daily activities of adults including the performance of job as well as shopping, all of which is encompassed KidZania’s interactive edutainment district.
