Kati did it again. With her new stunning company in Germany, Kati Meyer-Brühl has amazed the eyes of the style-conscious with her collection of indoor and outdoor furniture fit for a hot day outside and fancy enough for funky living inside.
Jo is the first collection which is imaginative to say the least with its cunning use of interesting colorful materials and it’s use to the of the letter “J” to create a more organic form to fit in with its space. This small armchair, or series of armchairs, comes in a variety of different colors and arrangements, adding a benefit to the flexibility through which the product can be used. Overall, this piece would be ideal for social occasions being light in weight and easily mobile in
any given interior space. Jo comes in a sofa form as well which when combined together forms a heart. On Tour explores a more sophisticated life within a living room setting making use of walnut, oak, and steel. As the company simply put it “it’s a room within a room” with the flexibility that if offers, taking a variety of different shapes and serving various functions within a myriad of household settings.
Summer is coming and with the sun coming up releasing her warm UV rays it’s time to take advantage of the weather’s temper. Papillon is an outdoor chair made out of wood and upholstered fabric which you can take anywhere whether it’s right outside your house or even to the park.
Choosing to hold more to minimalist themes, les-copains mimicks the experience of almost floating on air. brühl has been one of Germany’s elite in the design world being awarded the Bavarian Environmental Medal in 2002 for its efforts environmentally friendly practices with special recognition by the State of Bavaria. In October 2009, brühl received wide recognition in the environmental community for being the first seating furniture manufacturer to place “Blue Angel” emblem, indicating the company’s production processes used materials low in pollutants and sustainable practices.
